She was raised in Southern California as a vegetarian and from a very young age understood the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Living with asthma as a child, she was inhibited in participating in group sports. However, after finally outgrowing asthma, she began to pursue running and became very passionate about it. She has run several 5k's and 10k's and one 1/2 marathon. She believes that we as individuals choose our own destinies based on the choices that we make. "You are the only obstacle preventing you from a happy, healthy and fit life." Eventually, she would like to pursue her certification as a personal trainer.
